The Microsoft Office® suite of applications is one of the most widely used pieces of software in the world. Whether used for professional, academic or home purposes, every entity utilizes some part of the Microsoft Office® suite, whether for Apple or PC. The MS Excel® course will introduce learners to the ease and functionality of Excel® spreadsheets to store, manipulate, analyze and visualize data in a variety of ways.
Participants will learn the benefits of working with MS Excel®, how to create and format Excel® worksheets and how to navigate through MS Excel, customize the toolbar to suit their needs, create basic worksheets by entering text, create basic formulas using MS Excel® functions, and apply certain formatting functions for creating professional-looking spreadsheets.Adding more advanced skills to the program, participants will learn how to work within multiple workbooks at once, organize data in a variety of strategic ways, and utilize the different chart and graph features in order to present data in the most effective and meaningful way. Finally, this course will ensure students understand how the Excel program interacts with the other Microsoft Office® applications.
